The ZL Group of companies encompasses 5 privately owned trading businesses operating from purpose-built premises in Bellshill, central Scotland.

After commencing trading in the Transport sector with ZLG International Transport (UK) Ltd in 2004, Euro Mechanical Handling Ltd was formed in 2009 after identifying a gap in the market to supply both customers and suppliers with a variety of Material Handling solutions.

Again, in order to assist both customers and suppliers with short/long term storage solutions, Pro Global Freight Solutions Ltd was created to compliment the ZLG International Transport (UK) Ltd and Euro Mechanical Handling Ltd businesses.

This was now the start of the ZL Group of companies and a growth through acquisition strategy was put in place with the key aims of continuing to expand the Group of Companies, investing in the local community and helping to protect/create jobs.

As part of this strategy, Active Access Ltd was acquired in 2017 and immediately benefited from significant investment in new equipment that allowed the business to grow rapidly and be the leading independent powered access company in Scotland.
